G.L.A.D. God's Ladies Are Doers
The Ladies of the Mountain Home church of Christ are dedicated to over 40 various works for the encouragement of the body of Christ, and service to our community. Bible classes include Wednesday night, Tuesday morning and a monthly Monday night class. Yearly events such as Ladies Retreat, Ladies Day, Hospitali-Tea and Widows luncheon are times we gather together to encourage and uplift each other to continue our work.
We are deeply involved in the upbringing of our youth as teachers, chaperons, role models, and leadership training. In the medical fields, public schools, foster care programs, mission work in our country and abroad, disaster relief, nursing homes, parenthood and in many other areas of the community will you see or meet someone who is serving Christ through their helping hands for others. May God receive all the Glory for our efforts. I Peter 4:7-11
